PAYMENT
Orders can be paid in the following ways:

Paypal: Lars Larsen Watches A/S uses a payment gateway from Paypal. All map data is sent encrypted. If we are unable to
deliver the entire order, we can reduce your payment to the new order total. We cannot increase the amount if you want to add one or more product lines.

Card: Dankort, Mastercard, Visa, American Express. 

Direct bank transfer: You can pay with “Direct Bank Transfer” and avoid using any payment solution such as credit card or Paypal.
Our bank informations will be shown at checkout, if you choose this option. 

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Stock items are usually sent the day after ordering and arrives within 2-5 working days. But we will strive to send the goods on the same day once the order is confirmed. Payment transactions will be settled by the time of shipment. 

If payment is by direct bank transfer, goods will be shipped only after payment is received on our account. This will extend the delivery time. If the ordered product is not in stock, we will send message about expected delivery date.

If your order does not include inventory / ordering goods, we will send you a message and expected delivery date and then your order will only be sent when we can make a single delivery, or by appointment. If there are significant discrepancies, the customer must send Lars Larsen’s a message at the latest within 3 working days. If Lars Larsen is not contacted within 3 working days, the order is then considered as properly delivered.  

We use door to door delivery, there is a possibility of opting for another delivery address (workplace) in check out. 
If your package is not delivered as planned, please contact Local UPS department and inquire. Alternatively, contact directed to our head office and we will be able to help and solve the problem.

Order confirmation: All orders will be confirmed automatically (e-mail) and you will within 24 hours on weekdays, receive an email if there are any problems with delivery. You can always follow your order status with the tracking number that you receive when the order is sent.

Shipping/delivery of leather/nato strap: Leather and nato straps will be sent by post delivery, which means that you not gonna receive a tracking number and your order will arrive within 7-10 working days.

Shipping: All orders are free. 

Delivery firm: GLS and UPS. 

RETURN 
If you wish to return/cancel your purchase, please complete our returnform, and send it with the watch back to the main office. You have 14 days to return the goods.
Return goods should be sent in original packaging, and additional protective packing. Your credit minus your original shipping cost will be repatricated as soon as return goods are received. Possible impairment due to use or damage will be deducted in the reimbursement amount. 

Shipping cost for the return goods are carried by you. 

Returns and exchanges for christmas: All orders placed in December can be exchanged / returned until January 7.

Exchanges: You have 14 days to exchange your goods. You can exchange your watch for another model, colour, etc. You will typically receive the new product within 14 days after receiving your returned goods - depending on availability. The cost of return shipments of this type is your responsibility. 

If you exchange to a cheacper product, you will get the refunded amount. All you have to do is fill our exchangeform with all your data.   

MAINTENANCE OF YOUR WATCH
Please note that like with any micromechanical precision instrument, Lars Larsen Watches should have regular maintenance. This keeps your watch in perfect working order and makes it last longer. The frequency with which this maintenance work needs to be carried out depends on the model, as well as climatic conditions and the owner’s care of the watch. Therefore we cannot give a specific time interval for servicing. We generally recommend that a complete maintenance service should be carried out every 3 years.

To ensure that the services are performed professionally, you should take your watch to an authorized Larsen Watches retailer.

Water-resistance, basic advice for safeguarding the water-resistance of your watch: The water resistance should be regularly checked i.e every 12 months by an authorized Lars Larsen Watches retailer. You should ensure that the crown, according to the model, is pressed back at all times into position 0, or with a screwed down crown, that it is screwed back carefully, so that water cannot get into the mechanism. During the final check, Larsen watches are checked for water-resistance as marked on the bottom of the back of your watch case, but the water resistance of a watch is not permanent. The water-resistance can be impaired by accidental knocks to the case and crown, as well as natural wear of the internal gaskets.

The degree of water resistance is indicated on the back of the watch case: 3 bar (30 m) 5 bar (50 m) 10 bar (100 m) 15 bar (150 m) 20 bar (200 m) 100 bar (1000 m)




Leather straps: Please note that leather is a natural material subject to natural ageing. Depending on your wearing habit, the strap should be replaced regularly for reasons of safety (security of the watch on your wrist), as well as aesthetic and hygiene reasons. If worn daily, it may need to be changed every 6 to 12 months. To keep your leather strap in good condition for as long as possible, Larsen Watches recommends the following: Don’t expose your wristband to sunlight for long periods as this can fade it. Don’t forget that leather is permeable. So avoid contact with oily substances and cosmetics. To prevent discolouration and deformation, avoid contact with water and moisture.

Bathing in the sea: Always rinse your watch with clear water, when it comes in contact with salt water.

Cleaning: For metal bracelets and for all water-resistant cases use a small brush i.e a toothbrush in light soapy water. Use a soft cloth to dry it so that you do not scratch the watch or the metal bracelet.

Chemical products: Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products etc., since they may damage the bracelet, the case or the internal gaskets. If you have been swimming in chlorinated water, rinse your watch in clear water afterwards.

Magnetic fields: Do not expose your watch to any intense magnetic fields, such as metal detectors or electromagnetic appliances. This can damage your watch or impair its accuracy.

Temperatures: Do not expose your watch to sudden temperature changes (exposure to sunlight followed by immersion in cold water) or extreme temperatures over 60°C (140°F) or under than 0°C (32°F). Or for examble sauna to shower / swimming pool to shower.

Shocks: Whether thermal or any other shocks, avoid them. In the event of violent shocks, please have your watch checked by a Larsen Watch approved retailer.

Batteries: Watch batteries can last from between 2 and 3 years, depending on the watch type, its size and the amount of energy used by the various functions. If the second hand begins to jump in 4 second intervals, the battery needs to be changed (end of life indicator).

Changing the battery: We recommend that you take your watch to an authorised Lars Larsen Watches retailer as they have the tools and testing equipment necessary to carry out the work professionally. An empty battery must be changed as soon as possible to avoid the risk of leakage and resulting damage to the watch mechanism. For further questions, please contact: service@larsenwatches.com

WARRANTY AND REPAIR
Lars Larsen Watches A/S provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty* on your Larsen watch, this is valid from the date of purchase. In order to invoke the warranty, the guarantee must be submitted with a certificate, which is filled out completely and correctly by an authorised Larsen Watches retailer.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or aging by and void due to improper use. Inappropriate use includes water damage, accident damage (such as shock, fractures) and damage caused by a failure to comply with operating instructions. Warranty is also void if maintenance, repairs or replacement of the strap on the Larsen watch is made by a third party who is not authorised by Larsen Watches A/S.

*The following components are not covered under warranty: Battery and straps. 

Repair: When defects are covered by the warranty, Lars Larsen Watches will assess whether a repair can be performed, or the watch must be replaced with an equivalent or similar watch. 

Larsen Watches head office repay the shipping costs if the repair is covered under warranty, the shipping receipt is presented and completed repairform

Lars Larsen Watches and authorised Lars Larsen Watches retailers have the right to charge a fee for postage and possible insurance. To claim your warranty please contact your authorised Larsen Watches retailer or Larsen Watches.

If it isn't covered under warranty, you will receive a message from our service department for your approval before any work begins.
